Background
Funded within the framework of the European Union's Financial Assistance for Refugees in Turkey and its short name IMEP, “Facilitating Access to Employment for Syrians under Temporary Protection (STP) and Host Communities through Quality Apprenticeship and Vocational Training in Turkey” Program was launched on 01.01.2020. has been initiated. The program is run by Expertise France and its implementation partner, EDUSER, and its duration is 4 years. The beneficiaries of the program are the Ministry of National Education, General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education and the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen. Within the scope of the program, it is aimed to enroll 14,440 young people, 60% of whom are Syrians, as apprentices in 36 vocational education institutions (MEM/MTAL) selected from 12 provinces.
"Workplace Improvement Support" will be given in order to improve the educational environment of tradesmen and artisans who are apprentice students registered in any of the vocational education institutions within the scope of IMEP.
