Engineer
Job Purpose
ACTED is currently executing two projects with the aim of encouraging implementing partners to incorporate available data on flood-prone areas, and areas with high percentages of damaged shelters, into their programming. In this context, we are now looking for an Engineer to join our team in Gaziantep. The overall responsibility of the engineer is to act as a focal point in relation to our partners and to provide engineering expertise in improving the utilization of the available data on flooding/shelter damage in the partners’ strategic planning and implementation. The selected candidate is expected to work closely with local implementing partners and is thus expected to have a good understanding of site improvement programming in NWS. Experience with shelter rehabilitation is an asset.
