Capacity Development Officer (1)
JOB OBJECTIVE :
The Capacity Development Officer (CDO) as part of a Capacity Development team contributes to the strengthening of the capacity of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA) and the General Directorate of Social Care and Development (GDSCD, more commonly referred to as DoSA and Reformatory Schools in the provision of Case Management and Child Protection. The Capacity Development Officer will be responsible for supervising a team of Capacity Development Coaches (CDCs) in Erbil and Duhok, organizing and conducting trainings and facilitating peer to peer discussions with DoSA Social Workers, liaising with authorities and partners (MoLSA/DoSA, Reformatory Schools, UN and other NGOs) and supporting all other project activities in his/her location of work. The CDO is under the supervision of the Capacity Development Deputy Project Manager and will work remotely with the Child Protection Unit (CPU), and other CDOs operating in KRI.
