ROLE PURPOSE:
Under the supervision of head of programs, the Emergency and Shelter project manager will be responsible for emergency response and shelter operations inside Syria, ensuring proper planning for the ongoing projects and well-set design and planning for the new projects on the short and long term, maintaining and building relations with current donors and providing technical and administrative support for the project supervisors, officers and assistants.
The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced humanitarian professional who has a proven track record of delivering assistance in emergencies and shelter. S/he is a strong communicator who is able to build positive and constructive relationships with both colleagues and partners/donors.
