Financial Officer
Required qualifications
This position will require a demonstrated ability to achieve results.
University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. CMA/ACCA and other accounting qualifications are desirable.
Minimum 4 years of experience working with INGOs as a Finance Officer or a higher role
Previous experience working on USAID/Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance funded projects. Furthermore, hands-on training on donor monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting experiences.
Strong skills required to formulate donor budgets
Advanced analytical skills in MS Excel
Strong understanding of USAID donor compliance, reporting, and budget rules and regulations
Strong experience working in a similar role in MENA regional offices with other international humanitarian NGOs
· Good communication skills, strong negotiation, and report writing skills
Previous experience working on computerized accounting software (eg NetSuite, Sun system, ERP, etc.)
Fluency in English in oral and written communication.
