SAMS is continuing our gender-based violence (GBV) awareness-raising sessions

SAMS is continuing our gender-based violence (GBV) awareness-raising sessions in observance of the 30th annual 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
A recent at the SAMS MHPSS Center in Kilis, Turkey focused on highlighting the essential role of women in society, sharing tools and methods to prevent GBV, and raising awareness about and mitigating the causes of gender-based violence within the community
Nidal Abdulrezzak, the technical supervisor running explained the spirit and ideals driving this campaign, stating: "During today's sessions, we learned about the campaign's objectives and their impact on women's lives. I hope that in the coming years we will celebrate the final elimination of all forms of violence against women...because every woman and girl deserves to live a safe life free of violence."
SAMS is proud to partner with the U.S. Department of State: Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration to support and protect Syrian refugees at the MHPSS center in Kilis.
