Exhibition of handicrafts made by students of the accelerated learning program

Dan Organization for Relief and Development held an exhibition of handicrafts made by students of the accelerated education program that Dan is working on in the Al-Kuber area in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor.
With the personal effort of the young requests, the handicrafts were prepared, and the exhibition was opened on March 2, which included various works, and was well received by the attendees, especially as it is considered a new and first idea for the organization, especially for the Education Department.
The exhibition included handicrafts of sewing, embroidery and wool weaving. The exhibition also collected works of the region's heritage, such as making an old-style tent and making a fire house used for cooking.
Such works aim to motivate female students and learn about their manual skills and business inclinations, in addition to their studies, and contribute to learning a profession that may benefit them in the future.
The Accelerated Education Program in Al-Kubar targets 100 female adolescents, ages 14 to 18, for the first and second levels.
The first semester of the program has been completed and mid-term exams have been conducted for the students, and the second half of the program is now being completed until the end of the project and the final evaluation.
