A glimpse of the activity Despite the wide spread of civil society organizations in the north and east of Syria, its impact did not reach the required level, and a separation of civil society activities is often observed from reality and the real interaction with local communities and their needs. This separation results either from a lack of knowledge or from different priorities of civil society from The priorities and needs of society and this difference comes as a result of the absence of clear foundations for participation and effective communication between civil society formations and their surrounding communities
Therefore, we note the absence of local interest in the activities of civil associations and organizations (except for those based on providing material assistance), as well as the fact that the activities of local organizations and associations are often not directed to serve the real needs of the local community
Through this activity, the attention of civil society participants will be directed to the importance of effective communication and the importance of community participation in assessing needs and in the various stages of projects from planning to implementation, monitoring and accountability, the correct foundations and the different levels of this participation, which establishes a more effective work pattern between civil and local society
