Two psychosocial support sessions within the Aswatuna project

On Wednesday 6/2/2022 1Amal Center for Advocacy and Recovery presented two psychosocial support sessions within its Aswatuna project on awareness in the field of humanitarian work and mental health with the participation of 40 beneficiaries. The axes of the two sessions on
1. Increasing awareness among people to request psychological services and the difference between specializations in the psychological field
2. The difference between positive physiotherapy and negative physiotherapy
3. Explain some mental illnesses such as obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety
4. Faith and its relationship to mental illness
5. Explaining the mechanism of psychological stress and ways to treat it
And the participants felt psychological comfort, thanks and gratitude as a result of the active listening, containment and acceptance by the facilitator of the session, and they requested more of these sessions because of their importance in their lives
