Oral health awareness day in Zaatari camp
SAMS Clinic team organized an oral health awareness day in the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees, targeting children aged 5-10 years, with the aim of increasing awareness of children's oral health and breaking the barrier of fear of going to the dentist.
During the event, the dentist, Rania Al-Shaltouni, gave instructions on how to clean the correct teeth and how to take care of oral health and healthy food.
Dentist Rania Al-Shaltouni at SAMS Clinic said: "It is very important to conduct such awareness sessions for children to prevent caries and take care of oral health because prevention is better than treatment."
It is noteworthy that SAMS Medical Center in Zaatari camp, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the UNHCR, provides dental and x-ray services, in addition to vaccinations approved by the Ministry of Health.
