Isolation of agricultural drains in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor
Deirna Association has started working on a project to isolate agricultural drains in the sixth irrigation sector in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor Governorate, in the areas (Al-Zar - Al-Shuhail - Hawaij - Thiban). Among the activities of the project is the isolation of 80 km of open agricultural drains and the construction of 13 road ferries, which will contribute to reducing the level of torrential water, and in turn will reduce the risks of increasing soil salinization, and return large areas of agricultural land to service, to become more suitable for agricultural purposes.
