Preparing and distributing food baskets to families in need within the Fazaa Daraa project
The displaced and the local population in southern Syria faced low levels of food insecurity, and difficulty in securing basic needs. The team of the Houran Humanitarian Foundation within the emergency response project Fazaa Daraa prepared and distributed food baskets to the families in need, as it was able to reach the displaced families and the local population in hard-to-reach areas where no humanitarian services were provided to them. It is noteworthy that the project comes with the support and funding of the Kuwait Humanitarian Relief Society, and several local humanitarian institutions.
