Jafra Foundation for Relief and Youth Development
It is a foundation for relief and youth development that works to alleviate human suffering in emergencies and disasters and contributes to raising the standard of living in the Palestinian refugee camps in Syria and activating the various segments of society through purposeful projects and activities.
It specifically aims to:
1- Alleviating the suffering in cases of crises and disasters and providing its services to the Palestinians and Syrians residing in the Palestinian camps in Syria by providing the necessary in-kind and service needs.
2- Empowering refugee communities through development projects to advance the social, human and material potentials individually and collectively, and enabling community organizations to assume their responsibilities and take their role in society.
3- Activating the role of youth, not only as a target group, but as an active segment, and inclusion of youth needs, aspirations and needs in all stages and aspects of the development process, with the participation of the youth themselves, as the youth perspective does not deal with youth as a problem, or as victims, but rather as active entities and as a wealth. It is a necessary condition to bring about any desired social change.
4- Planning and implementing programs and projects based on the idea of sustainable development.

Foundation activities:
1- Providing materials and emergency relief services (water - shelter - medicine)
2- Coordination of relief operations and support services (administration and logistics).
3- Training courses in the field of crisis and disaster management, development and community skills.
4- Enhancing, encouraging and spreading the culture of volunteer work in the community.
5- Working to provide young people with opportunities, services and full support to play an active role in developing themselves, their peers and the local communities to which they belong.
6 - Organizing programs and activities aimed at enhancing awareness among the local community, promoting the principle of participation among young people, and supporting their initiatives.
