In view of what is happening in Syria since the beginning of the revolution and the growing manifestations of violence, extremism and the exploitation of children for military and political purposes, it has become necessary to open such centers in all Syrian cities to spread the culture of civil society and start building the human being by dedicating the principle of transitional justice based on belief in civil peace and tolerance and renunciation of violence and revenge To avoid a civil war between the components of the Syrian people, and to activate civil society institutions to be a watchdog over the practices of local and central authority and to prevent them from tyranny by spreading the concepts of democracy, human rights and comprehensive development.
Objectives of the Nowruz Center for the Revival of Civil Society:
1- Developing the capacities of youth and women in the field of concepts of civil society, transitional justice, and the media.....etc.
2- Enhancing the cultural and social developmental values ​​in society, promoting a culture of dialogue, coexistence and free thinking, especially among youth, children and women, and supporting marginalized groups, especially in rural areas.
3- Promote the culture and values ​​of democracy and gender equality.
4- Supporting work initiatives and networking with communities and civil society institutions at the local, regional and global levels.
5- Preparing local cadres in the field of administration, organization and monitoring of elections in cooperation with relevant international organizations.
6- Supporting sustainable development activities and projects for the local network, the national network, and international organizations that interact with the center.
7- Contribute to limiting the manifestations of armament and encourage laying down of arms after the revolution.
8- Reducing the exploitation of children for political and military purposes.
9- Preparing studies on the problems that society suffers from and proposing solutions to them.
