Who are we

Damma is a civil women's network that believes in the role of women in mitigating the effects of violence and building peace in communities affected by conflict. It also believes in the essential role of a supportive environment for children, taking into account their rights and protection, and working to develop their capabilities and refine their skills. It is officially registered in Lebanon as a non-profit civil organization on April 12, 2017 under the registration number 747.

Vision

Damma considers itself responsible for social change that brings people together and facilitates their interaction and integration in a society of peace, justice, dignity and participation.

Mission

Damma provides integrated support to individuals and communities by facilitating access to skills and resources in order to empower them, with a focus on vulnerable groups, particularly women and children. Damma also works on finding mechanisms to achieve sustainable peace, solidarity and integration in societies.
