1- The SMART Center was established in the city of Qamishli in September 2012 with an individual effort by the psychologist and trainer Muhammad Ali Othman. The SMART team was formed at the end of 2013, and in the belief of the SMART staff in institutional work, the team moved to the institutional work in the SMART Center for Mental Health and Human Development in The city of Qamishli, and its activity will be on all the territories of the Syrian Republic or even abroad if the need arises.
2- Vision: The SMART Center seeks to build a society whose members enjoy mental and physical health, for its children to have a safe and happy childhood, to strive for the development of the individual and society in all its categories, and to work on implementing projects that achieve this through the available mechanisms.
3- Mission: The SMART Center for Mental Health and Human Development is a non-governmental center that works in cooperation with partners, volunteers, and members of the community, to provide “development-psycho-social” humanitarian services to individuals and groups through capacity-building, providing consultations, and implementing responsive development projects. to the needs of society, to bring about direct, real, and sustainable change in society.
4- Smart Center is not allowed to work or interfere in political, military, and religious matters.
5- Field of work: Smart Center is an independent humanitarian organization working in the field of mental health, human development, and building the individual and society.

7- Objectives:
Spreading and promoting a culture of mental health and self-development among members of society in all its categories.
Providing counseling and psychological services to all segments of society.
Developing the skills and capabilities of women to enable and qualify them to perform their multiple roles.
Strengthening the concept of protection in general and protecting the child in particular, and creating a safe environment for him.
Carrying out development projects targeting the community in general and the weak and marginalized groups in particular.
Giving young people special importance and educating them on the concepts of civil society (democracy, freedom, human rights, rule of law, fighting corruption) and upgrading their capabilities.
Seeking to build the capabilities of individuals and groups in various fields that society needs.
8- Means of achieving goals (mechanisms)
Opening and managing rehabilitation, training, and educational centers.
Benefiting from all visual, audio, and print media, including the electronic press.
Establishing psychosocial support activities for all groups.
Organizing lectures and seminars - mobile and mobile teams.

Establishing partnerships with international organizations, networking with local bodies, and relations with the competent authorities.
9- Smart Center Logo:
It is the first letter of the name of the center and below it is the name of the center within a blue rectangle. The logo is predominantly orange and blue and contains a sentence summarizing the goal of the SMART Center.
10- Work principles (smart values)
The SMART Center derives its values ​​and objectives from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. The SMART Center also believes in the values ​​of equality, protection, empowerment, inclusion, partnership, networking, transparency, and good governance.
